RESOLUTION ADDING TO COUNTY TRUNK SYSTEM.

WHEREAS, with the construction of the incinerator by
American Resource Recovery on the Health Center premises, the
County has agreed to reconstruct the roadways in the vicinity so
that said roadways can accommodate heavy trucks and heavy travel,
and
WHEREAS, it appears to be in the best interest of St. Croix
County to take over such roadways as county trunk highways; and
WHEREAS, Wisconsin Statutes Section 83.025(1)(a) permits
County Boards to make additions to county trunk systems with the
consent of the Wisconsin Department of Transportation; and
WHEREAS, the description of the roadways proposed to be
added to the county trunk system is as follows:
Beginning 0.29 mile East of the West One -
Quarter Corner of Section 35, T31N -R18W, Town
of Star Prairie, St. Croix County, thence West
0.29 mile on 185th Ave., thence south on 120th
Street 0.50 mile to 180th Ave., the South line
of the Town of Star Prairie, thence East 0.03
mile on 180th Ave. to 115th Street in the Town
of Richmond, thence south on 115th Street 0.26
mile to S.T.H. "64 ". The end of this
extension being near the S.E. Corner of the
N.E. 1/4 of the N.W. 1/4 of Section 4, T3ON-
R18W, Town of Richmond, St. Croix County. The
Total Distance being 1.08 miles.
and
WHEREAS, it appears that the Township of Star Prairie and
Richmond will agree to these proposed additions to the county
trunk system from their present status as town roads,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the St. Croix County Board
of Supervisors, meeting in regular session, that the roadways
mentioned above are hereby added to the county trunk system,
effective upon the written consent of the Wisconsin Department of
Transportation and upon the approvals by resolution by the
Townships of Star Prairie and Richmond.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the above mentioned roadways
shall become an extension of C.T.H. "K" for the entire distance
being added to the county trunk system.
