WOODVILLE RECREATIONAL TRAIL TO�WISC WISCONSIN =DEPARTMENT THE

TRANSPORTATION.

WHEREAS, the Wisconsin Department of Transportation has
contacted St. Croix County regarding its plans for replacement of
certain bridge structures along I -94 at the location where the
County -owned Woodville Recreational Trail goes under 1 -94; and
WHEREAS, the Department of Transportation has requested that
St. Croix County convey its title to the lands in the area where
the Department of Transportation intends to replace the bridge
structures with a box culvert; and g
WHEREAS, the Department of Transportation would construct
the box culvert in said location so that the Woodville
Recreational Trail could still be used and maintained; and
WHEREAS, the St. Croix County Zoning, Planning, and
Comprehensive Parks Committee has considered the request from the
Department of Transportation and recommends to the County Board
that it authorize the Chairman and County Clerk to execute an
necessa y
ry legal documents to convey title to the Wisconsin
Department of Transportation in said location, subject to the
continued usage of the Woodville Recreational Trail in such
location.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the St. Croix County Board
of Supervisors, meeting in regular session, that the County Board
Chairman and County Clerk are hereby authorized to execute an

z'y legal documents which convey the County's legal
interest in the land at the location of the intersection of I -94
with the Woodville Recreational Trail; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that St. Croix County shall reserve
an easement allowing the County to continue its use of t
Woodville Recreational Trail in such location and through the
