RESOLUTION REGARDING PRINTING AND PUBLICATION OF COUNTY BOARD
PROCEEDINGS APRIL 1986 TI MARCH 1987

WHEREAS the County Board Proceedings have been published by
one Newspaper for each year and supplements sent to the other FIVE
Newspapers in St. Croix County for distribution, AND
WHEREAS it has been deemed a d v i s a b l e to publish the County
Board Proceedings after each meeting to keep the public currently
informed of such proceedings, AND
WHEREAS, it has been further deemed advisable to submit such
publication to SIX St. Croix County Newspapers for Bids,
THEREFORE, such publication will be submitted to SIX St.
Croix County Newspapers for Bids;
NOW THEREFORE, BE 1 T RESOLVED AND 1 T IS HEREBY RESOLVED THAT
THE PUBLICATION OF THE COUNTY BOARD PROCEEDINGS BE CONDUCTED
ACCORDING TO THE FOLLOWING PROCEDURES:
I. Bids shall be requested from the Six Newspapers for
Typesetting 7 point on 8 point slug, 17 em column. These bids
are submitted to the County Clerk's Office by March 28, 1986,
at 1 2:00 noon and are to include a l I minutes commencing with
the April 1986 session and ending in March of the fol lowing
year. The schedule of County Board Sessions is established at
ten (10) for the coming year. Any extra session to be printed
would be prorated at a fair figure.
2. Such successful bidding newspaper shall print the proceedings
in the supplement form and del iver to the other FIVE
Newspapers in said County, to be published with the next issue
of the Newspapers.
3. Such successful bidder shall be paid a flat fee of $55.00 plus
$2.00 per 100 based on the circulation of each newspaper,
after the first 1000 for distribution of each supplement by
the other five newspapers. The fol lowing is the detail
charges schedule based on the above - stated formula for the
distribution of the supplements:

Star Observer 5400 55.00 + 88.00 = $143.00
Tribune Press Reporter 2700 55.00 + 34.00 = 89.00
Baldwin Bulletin 3100 55.00 + 42.00 = 97.00
Woodville Leader 900 55.00 + - 55.00
Central St. Croix News 1250 55.00 + 4.00 = $ 59.00
4. IT IS FURTHER RESOLVED AND ORDERED THAT within 45 days of the
March Session of each year, the entire proceedings of the
County Board for the entire year sha l I be bound in book form
(85 copies) and del ived to the County Clerk before the
organizational session of the County Board in May.
