RESOLUTION APPROVING OFFER TO PURCHASE EDWARD AND NELLIE BOODY
PROPERTY..

WHEREAS, the Finance, Budget., Building and Bond Committee of
the St. Croix County Board of Supervisors has offered to purohaae
ninety - nine (99) Acres of real estate owned by Edward C. Boody
and Nellie C. Boody in the Township of Hudson, St. Croix County;
and
WHEREAS, through a process of negotiations the following
Offer to Purchase has been accepted by Mr. and Mrs. Boody subject
to approval of the St. Croix County Board of Supervisors:
Purchase price $262,500, with - I;,Q!pA,_I ; :.
Paid at , pg, Balance of 8187.000 to be
paid: $18,750 on May 1 of each year for a
period of ten (10) years with interest thereon
of 9% of the unpaid balance. Mr. and Mrs.
Boody reserved a right; to rent the dwelling
and outbuildings on the said premises for a
period not to exceed five years.
WHEREAS, the legal description for the said Boody property
is as follows:
S 1/2 of NW 1/4 of SE 1/4 of Section 19- 29 -19,
Except Lot A, Certified Survey Map filed Oct.
23, 1975, in Vol. "1 ", Certified Survey Maps,
page 186, as Document 1329907; and
SW 1/4 of SE 1/4 of Section 19- 29 -19, Except
Lot A, Certified Survey Map filed Oct. 23,
1975, in Vol. "1 ", Certified Survey Maps, page
186, as Document 1329907; Lot 1, Certified
Survey Map filed May 19, 1977 in Volume "2 ",
Certified Survey Maps, page 369, as Document
1340124, and Lot 1, Certified Survey Map filed
Oct. 14, 1977, in Vol. "2 ", Certified Survey
Maps, page 478, as Document 1343886; and
S 1/2 of NE 1/4 of SE 1/4 and SE 1/4 of SE
1/4, all of Section 19- 29 -19.
WHEREAS, the Finance, Budget, Building, and Bond Committee
recently met with the City of Hudson and the Town of Hudson
concerning the possible approval by the County Board of the
purchase of the Boody property and listened to the various
concerns expressed by both the City of Hudson and the Town of
Hudson,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the St. Croix County Board
of Supervisors, meeting in regular session, that the Offer to
Purchase described above is hereby approved, effective

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that St. Croix County fully 000perate
with the C ity of Hudson and the Town of Hudson in planning the
development of the above described premises, inoluding
cooperating with the Town of Hudson in its plans for an extension
of Carmichael Road northerly from the intersection of CTH UU and
Carmichael Road.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the County Board Chairman and
the County Clerk is hereby authorized to execute a Lease
Agreement with Edward C. Boody and Nellie C. Boody for the
dwelling and outbuildings located on the above described
premises for a period not to exceed 5 years.
