HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution 1985 (11) RESOLUTION REGARDING PRINTING AND PUBLICATION OF COUNTY BOARD PROCEEDINGS APRIL 1985 THROUGH MARCH 1986 Resolution # // (( WHEREAS the County Board Proceedings have been published by one Newspaper for each year and supplements sent to the other FIVE Newspapers in St. Croix County for distribution, AND WHEREAS it has been deemed advisable to publish the County Board Proceedings after each meeting to keep the public currently informed of such proceedings, AND WHEREAS, it has been further deemed advisable to submit such publication to SIX St. Croix County Newspapers for Bids, THEREFORE, such publication will be submitted to SIX St. Croix County Newspapers for Bids; NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AND IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED THAT THE PUBLICATION OF THE COUNTY BOARD PROCEEDINGS BE CONDUCTED ACCORDING TO THE FOLLOWING PROCEDURES: 1. Bids shall be requested from the Six Newspapers for Typesetting 7 point on 8 point slug, 17 em column. These bids are submitted to the County Clerk's Office by March 28, 1985, at 1:00 p.m. and are to include all minutes commencing with the April 1985 session and ending in March of the following year. The schedule of County Board Sessions is established at ten (10) for the coming year. Any extra session to be printed would be prorated at a fair figure. 2. Such successful bidding newspaper shall print the proceedings in the supplement form and deliver to the other FIVE Newspapers in said County, to be published with the next issue of the Newspapers. 3. Such successful bidder shall be paid a flat fee of $55.00 plus $2.00 per 100 based on the circulation of each newspaper, after the first 1000 for distribution of each supplement by the other five newspapers. The following is the detail charges schedule based on the above - stated formula for the distribution of the supplements: NEWSPAPER CIRCULATION TOTAL CHARGE New Richmond News 5175 55.00 + 82.00 = $ 37.00 Star Observer 5300 55.00 + 86.00 = $141.00 Tribune Press Reporter 2350 55.00 + 26.00 = $ 81.00 Baldwin Bulletin 3000 55.00 + 40.00 = $ 95.00 Woodville Leader 900 55.00 + _ $ 55.00 Central St. Croix News 1200 55.00 + 4.00 = $ 59.00 4. IT IS FURTHER RESOLVED AND ORDERED THAT within 45 days of the March Session of each year, the entire proceedings of the County Board for the entire year shall be bound in book form (85 copies) and delived to the County Clerk before the organizational session of the County Board in May.
