AMENDMENT TO CHAPTER 17 ST. CROIX COUNTY ZONING ORDINANCE
REZONING LAND FROM
Ag. Residential to Commercial

WHEREAS,the Statutes of the State of Wisconsin provide for a
Plann and Zoning Committee to act in all matters pertaining to
county planning and zoning, and
WHEREAS, the St. Croix County Board has established the
Comprehensive Planning, Zoning, and Parks Committee; and
WHEREAS, at the request of the County Board this committee
is to review petitions, hold public hearings, and present its
recommendations for rezoning requests, to the County Board for
action; and
WHEREAS, the Comprehensive Planning, Zoning, and Parks
Committee has fulfilled its duties on the petition of Donald &
Sally Michaelson: and
WHEREAS, the Comprehensive Planning, Zoning, and Parks
Committee recommends denial of the request to rezone the
following parcel from Ag.- Residential to Commercial:
A parcel of land located in part of the SW 1/4 of the NW 1/4
of Sec. 18, T3ON -R19W, Town of Somerset, St. Croix County, WI,
described as follows: Commencing at the W 1/4 of said Sec. 18,
said corner also being the point of beginning of this
de thence N00 ° 50'41 "E 758.96 feet along the west line
of said NW 1/4; Thence N32 ° 12'54 "E 185.19 feet along the
centerline of S.T.H. "35" & "64" to the point of curvature of a
5,729.58 foot radius curve concave northwesterly whose central
angle measures 3 ° 16'27" and whose chord bears N30 ° 34 "40.5" and
measures 327.25 feet; thence Northeasterly 327.30 feet along the
arc of said curve and centerline; thence S52 ° 07'23 "E 456.41 feet
along the southerly line of Land Contract recorded in 884, page
298; thence N32 ° 55'34 "E 350.39 feet along said land contract and
the east line of Certified Survey Map recorded in volume 8, page
2278; thence S52 ° 07'23 "E 452.09 feet along the southerly line of
Certified Survey Map recorded in volume 5, page 1292; thence
S00 ° 08'32 "W 643.31 feet along the east line of said SW 1/4 of the
NW 1/4; thence N89 ° 05'38 "W 318.50 feet; thence S00 ° 08'32 "W 309.00
feet; thence N89 ° 05'38 "W 863.24 feet along the south line of said
SW 1/4; thence N89 ° 05'38 "W 863.24 feet along the south line of
said SW 1/4 of the NW 1/4 to the point of beginning. Containing
26.17 acres including road right -of -way and 24.75 acres exclting
road right -of -way.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, by the St. Croix County Board
of Supervisors, meeting in regular session, that the request to
rezone the above parcel from Ag.- Residential to Commercial is
hereby denied. -Nh
