ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING TERM OF HIGHWAY COMMISSIONER
Ordinance No. ?5 .1 ( 9D)
Pursuant to Section 83.01(2), Wisconsin Statutes, the St.
Croix County Board of Supervisors does ordain as follows:
Section 1. Upon being elected, the initial term of the
Highway Commissioner shall be one year.
Section 2. If reelected, each succeeding term of the Highway
Commissioner shall be 4 years.
Section 3. A term shall commence on the first Monday of
January in the year following the year of election.
Section 4. If the person serving as Highway Commissioner
immediately prior to the effective date of this ordinance is
reelected at the next election, that person shall serve a term of
4 years.
Section 5. This ordinance shall take effect on the day after
its date of publication.
