AMENDMENT TO CHAPTER 17 ST. CROIX COUNTY ZONING ORDINANCE
REZONING LAND FROM
Residential to Commercial

WHEREAS,the Statutes of the State of Wisconsin provide for a
Planning and Zoning Committee to actin all matters pertaining to
county planning and zoning, and
WHEREAS, the St. Croix County Board has established the
Comprehensive Planning, Zoning, and Parks Committee, and
WHEREAS, at the request of the County Board this committee
is to review petitions, hold public hearings, and report its
recommendations to the County Board for action, and
WHEREAS, the Comprehensive Planning, Zoning, and Parks
Committee has fulfilled its duties on the petition of Dale &
Janie Germain; and
WHEREAS, the Comprehensive Planning, Zoning, and Parks
Committee recommends approval for the rezonement from
Residential to Commercial:
A parcel of land located in the NW 1/4 of the NW 1/4 and the
SW 1/4 of the NW 1/4 of Sec. 5, T3ON -R19W, in the Township of
Somerset, St. Croix County, WI is further described as follows:
Beginning at the west quarter corner section of said section
5, that is westerly along the west line of the NW 1/4 824.5 feet
thence east 250 feet to point of beginning, thence north parallel
with the west line of the NW 1/4 thence east 320 feet more or
less to the right of said town road 490 feet more or less, to the
north line of that parcel of land which is described as exception
#2 on Quit Claim Deed, Volume 778, page 398, thence westerly 330
feet more or less, to the point of beginning. 3.4 acres more or
less.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, by the St. Croix County Board
of Supervisors, meeting in regular session, that the above parcel
is rezoned from Residential to Commercial the St. Croix County
Zoning Ordinance is thereby amended.
