HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinance 1989 (231) ORDINANCE RECOMMENDING APPROVAL FOR REZONEMENT OF LAND TO COMMERCIAL FROM AG- RESIDENTIAL ORDINANCE NO. .3 J C'fj WHEREAS,the Statutes of the State of Wisconsin provide for a Planning and Zoning Committee to act in all matters pertaining to county planning and zoning, and WHEREAS, the St. Croix County Board has established the Comprehensive Planning, Zoning, and Parks Committee, and WHEREAS, at the request of the County Board this committee is to review petitions, hold public hearings, and report its recommendations to the County Board for action, and WHEREAS, the Comprehensive Planning, Zoning, and Parks Committee has fulfilled its duties on the petition of THOMAS GLEASON. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, that the Comprehensive Planning, Zoning, and Parks Committee recommends approval for the rezonement to Commercial from Ag- Residential the following: A parcel of land of 8.8 acres located in part of Government Lot 2, Section 27, Township 30 North, Range 20 West, Town of St. Joseph, described as follows, to -wit: Beginning at a point in the S line of said Lot "2" where the Ely right of way line Trunk Highway "64" of the State of Wisconsin intersects the same; running thence NE along said Ely right of way line 825 feet to a point; continuing thence along said right of way line as the same veers toward the E 301 feet to a point which is 98 feet W of the E line of said Lot "2 "; running thence S 110 feet to a point; running thence S 98 feet to the E line of said Lot "2 "; running thence S along the E line of said Lot "2" to a point 300 feet N of the SE corner of Said Lot "2 "; running thence W 183 feet to a point; running thence S 120 feet to a point; running thence W 107 feet to a point; running thence S 180 feet, more or less, to the S line of said Lot "2 "; running thence W along the S line of said Lot "2" to the point of beginning, subject to a public highway easement over the Ely 33 feet of said tract, intending to convey all that part of said Lot "2" belonging to the grantors lying E and S of the spur of said Trunk Highway "64" which runs to the bridge across the St. Croix River to Stillwater, Minnesota. Except an easement granted for Highway purposes as long as so used, and described as follows, to -wit: A parcel of land located in Section 27- 30 -20, in Government Lot "2" thereof, lying Ely of a line that is 50 feet distant at right angles Wly from and parallel to the following described center line of a highway survey: Beginning in said Section 27, on the N line at the approximate N 1/4 corner of said Section; thence S1 35'E 812.67 feet, thence S 2 05'E 525.33 feet NOW THEREFORE, BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, that the St. Croix County Board consider the said recommendations as presented and take action for the adoption of the same. 1 Dated this 1 Z7 day of ' , 1989.
