HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinance 1987 (175) ORDINANCE RECOMMENDING APPROVAL FOR REZONEMENT OF LAND TO AG- RESIDENTIAL FROM AGRICULTURAL AND TO COMMERCIAL FROM AGRICULTURAL ORDINANCE NO. /75 (7) WHEREAS, the Statutes of the State of Wisconsin provide for a Planning and Zoning Committee to act in all matters pertaining to county planning and zoning, and WHEREAS, the St. Croix County Board has established the Comprehensive Planning, Zoning, and Parks Committe, and WHEREAS, at the request of the County Board this committee is to review petitions, hold public hearings, and report its recommendations to the County Board for action, and WHEREAS, the Comprehensive Planning, Zoning, and Parks Committee has fulfilled its duties on the petition of BEN GEORGE. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, that the Comprehensive Planning, Zoning, and Parks Committee recommends approval for the rezonement to Ag- Residential from Agricultural the following: A parcel of land of about 12.3 acres located in the SW -1/ of the SE -1/ of Section 13, T30N, R20W, Town of Somerset, more particularly described as: all of said SW -1/4 of the SE -1/ lying northwesterly of the northwesterly right -of -way line of State Trunk Highways "35 -64" except the following; Beginning at the point of intersection of said right -of -way line with the West line of said SW -1/4 of the SE -1/4; thence Northeasterly 700' along said right - of -way line; thence Northwesterly, at a 90 angle to said right -of- way line, to said West line of the SW -1/4 of the SE -1/4; thence Southerly along said West line to the point of beginning; and also NOW THEREFORE, BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, that the Comprehensive Planning, Zoning and Parks Committee recommends approval for the rezonement to Commercial from Agricultural the following: A parcel of land of about 5.4 acres located in the above described SW -1/4 of the SE -1/4 more particularly described as: Beginning at the point of intersection of said right -of -way line with the West line of said SW -1/4 of the SE -1/4; thence Northeasterly 700' along said right -of -way line; thence Northwesterly, at a 90 angle, to said West line of the SW -1/4 of the SE -1/4; thence Southerly along said West line to the point of beginning. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, that the St. Croix County Board consider the said recommendations as presented and take action for the adoption of the same.
