RESOLUTION DESIGNATING THE NEW RICHMOND NEWS AS THE OFFICIAL 5T. CROIx
COUNTY NEWSPAPER
Resolution
WHEREAS, The County of St. Croix has observed the practice of
disclosure of actions of the County Board by publishing reports of its
proceedings in diverse newspapers of the County, and
WHEREAS, the County of St. Croix expresses its desire to continue
to do so, and
WHEREAS, the County of St. Croix has deemed it desirable to desig-
nate a newspaper pursuant to Chapters 985.0517, and 985.03 of the Wisconsin
Statutes as its official newspaper, and
WHEREAS, the Hudson Star Observer has been the official newspaper for
St. Croix County for the period of April 1, 19$z through March 31, 19$x; and
WHEREAS, the New Richmond News has expressed a desire to once again
be`the official newspaper for St. Croix County;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the St. Croix County Board of Super-
visors, meeting in regular session, that the New Richmond News, a newspaper
published weekly at New Richmond, Wisconsin, be designated the Official
Newspaper for St. Croix County for the period April 1, 198 through March
3l, 198b.
