WHEREAS, St. Croix County has completed an Area Wide
Solid Waste Management Plan, and
WHEREAS, Pierce, Polk and St. Croix Counties have agreed
tv cooperate in performing an Economic Feasibilit Stud that will Y Y
examine the economic feasibility~af tri-county ar~d single county
waste-to-energy facilities, vs. other management systems and
WHEREAS, a waste-to-energy facility is cansistant with
each county's Solid Waste Management Plan,
NOW THEREFQRE BE IT RESOLVED by the St. Croix County
Board of Supervisors meeting in regular session that the Board
approves the implementation of a waste-to-energy project as part
of a tri-county system or as a single-county system, should such a
project be determined feasible when compared to other management
systems in the forthcoming Economic Feasibility Study.
