JDB FREEZE FOR ALL PERMANENT COUNTY..EMPLOYEE LEVELS
IN ALL COUNTY DEPARTMENTS FOR $UDGET YEAR 1955
WHEREAS, local property,ta~es continue to increase much faster than progert~y~.
valuations., .and.
WHEREAS, the number ofpersons employed by St. Croix County continues to
increase. much faster than population growth in St. ,Croix County, and

WHEREAS, it appears that increases in local spending will likely su-rpass the inflationary controls which Federal budget cuts; Federal Revenue Sharing, and State
Shared Revenues, are attempting to achieve, and
WHEREAS, the level of government services provided by St. Croix County is~
unsurpassed, in the State of Wisconsin .and can well afford nit to expand in or beyond ~ .
