RESOLUTION PROHIBITING SMOKING DURING COUNTY BOARD MEETINGS
RESOLUTION ~ S~
' WHEREAS, public attention has been directed to the
hazards of tobacco smoke in confined areaj, and
WHEREAS, many members of the general public and County
.Board members in attendance at County Board meetings do not smoke,
and
WHEREAS, smoking is prohibited in courts, other
governmental assemblies, religious ceremonies, theatres. and other
public performances,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the St. Croix County
Board Meeting in regular session, that the County Board room is
designated as anon-smoking area while the County Board is in
session. T~iis Resolution shall not apply to committee meetings.
