RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING REGIS'T'ER OF DEEDS TO ENTER NTG CONTRACT WITH
ABSTRACT INC.

WHEREAS, Abstract Inc . of River E`alls , Wisconsin , whose ~~usiness is that
of abstracting, has indicated a desire to procure non-c rtified copies of -
documents filed and recorded with the St. Croix County egi~ter of Deeds, and
WHEREAS, Section 59.575} of the Wisconsin Statutes aut~~orizes the Register
of Deeds to enter into a contract with municipalities, rivate corporations,
associations, and other persons for the purpose of providing non-certified
copies of the complete daily recordings and filings of documents pertaining to
real property, f'or a consideration, upon approval and consent of the Caunty
Board, and
WHEREAS, the Register of Deeds for St. Croix County has expressed ~ desire
to enter into such a contract with Abstract Inc. of River Falls, Wisconsin.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the St. Croix Coun y Board Of Supervisors,
meeting in regular session, that the Register of Deeds i hereby authorized to
enter into a contract with Abstract Inc, of River Falls, Wisconsin, for the
purpose of providing non-certified copies of the complete daily recordings and
filings of documents pertaining to real property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the ~'arent Committee f r the Register of Deeds
Office for St . Croix Caunty , the Finance , Budget , Build ' ng and Bond Commit tee ,
is delegated the responsibility of establishing fees fo such services, which
in no event shall be less than cost of labor and materi~l plus a reasonable
allowance for plant and depreciation of equipment used.
