A motion by Luckwaldt seconded by Holmes to approve Mr. Turner's request with the foll•oving restrictions : 1. Two rows of poplar trees (fast growing) and -: '---" two rows of evergreen trees are to be planted on the west property line from the front of the building to the rear of the property line. The Zoning Administrator is to inspect property to insure that trees are planted. 2. Keeps the property in a clean and orderly manner. 3. Beautify the property to assist in keeping the value of adjoin*ng property at its highest level. DDARD OF ADJUSTr MIT HEAR17r, October 23, 1974 fearing called to orf.3er by Chairman Afdahl. Present were Suj')- ervisors Afdahl, Holmes and Luckwaldt . Zoning Administrator, iarold Barber read the request of an- dall Berenschot to build an enclosed: driveway from his house to the right of way of a town road. Mr. Berenschot feels that the structure is underground and is a permitted use within the setback. Berenschot stated that if the Board request that any por- tion of the building be removed that he be permitted to have either a 40 or 30 foot setback. 'questions by members of the Board. Chairman Afdahl informed Tvsr. Berenschot that after inspection of the property the Zoning Administrator will inform him of their decision, Zoning Administrator read request of Mr. Virgil Tang to build an addition 10 ft. by 24 ft. to the west side of present building along* C.T.H. '"J". The building does not meet the required setback from the centerline of the road. He cannot build on the rear as it is too close to the well. Neighbors have no objection to the addition. Chairman Afdahl informed 111r. Wang that the Zoning Adm.inistra- f or will inform him of their decision. Zoning Administrator read the request of �:Tr. '?allace 7estberg. Township of Troy to sub-divide a parcel of land along the St. Croix °fiver. The division of the property would permit .•fir. Uestber to sell his year around home and keep the cottage as a summer r.estlence . The property would become a non-conforming use if division is permitted. Pars. Uestberg informed the Board that if they wanted to ;hut restrictions on the property they would abide by them. °questions by members of the board and Toning Administrator. Chairman Afdahl informed Mrs . Westberg that the Zoning Ad--Z��i- istrator would notify them of their decision after inspection of the property. Zoning Administrator read request of Mx. Herbert Turner to build a farm implement building on agriculture parcel east of IPam- mond. The Zoning Administrator first read a letter from District Attorney on the property. Several persons appeared before the Board in favor of the buildin?. Some people felt' that_ there, should be some sr_ree;.i'-ng tc ;protect the homes that overlook the area and to beautify the prop- erty. They all feel that the community needs the business and ad- ditional tax base. Chairman Afdahl informed the group that after inspection of the property the Zoning Administrator will inform them of the decision. :-Tearing adjourned in order to inspect the properties brought before the Board. After inspection of the Westberg property. A T,.botion by Luck- waldt to deny the 1,7estberg request to subdivide their property. The division of the property would make a conforming lot a non-con- forming use, not conforming to regulations set forth by the Dept. of Tlatural Resourses and Chapter 197 , Laws of Wisconsin 1973, the Lower St . Croix River Protection Act . Seconded by Holmes . :iotion carried unanimously. After inspection of the Berenschot property. A motion by- Holmes seconded by Luckwaldt to deny the request of Hr. Berenschot to build closer to the town road than 100 feet from centerline. The non-conforming structure shall be removed to 100 feet from the centerline of the township road on or before December 15 , 1>74, or legal action will be taken by the District Attorney and Zoning Administrator to remove the structure. Motion carried unanimously. After inspection of the Turner property. A motion by Luck- waldt seconded by ':Holmes to approve Mr. Turner' s request with the following restrictions : (1) .
