CROIX COUNTY ZONING ORDINANCE. The St. Croix County Board of Adjustment conducted an on site inspection of the site in question. After inspection,p the St. Croix County Board of Adjustment entered an Executive Session to discuss the request. After returning to open 'session, the following decision was rendered. All members present. Minutes of the January meeting and hearing approved. Hearing called to order by Chairman Meinke. Zoning Administrator read notice of hearing as`published in the county and local newspapers: 1. ARTICLE: 2.3F(3) (e) -rd 9 AR(4) (b) , Pole buildino for housing a horse, and setback from a town road. V APPELLANT: Bernard D. Olson LOCATION: SWk SW14, Section 33, T31N-R17W, Town of Stanton 2, ARTICLE: 2.9A(18) , Campground APPELLANT: Allen Campeau LOCATION: SE14 SEk, Section 23 T31N-R19W, Town of Somerset 3. ARTICLE: 8.4B(4) (b) APPELLANT: Gary Richmond LOCATION: SW;4 SE34, Section 2, T28N-R18W, Town of Kinnickinnic Old business: River Falls Cable Company request for a tower. Mr. Charles White presented the request of River Falls Cable Company, explaining the lease and easement agreement that was requested. Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Thompson questioned the map presented to the Board. After reviewing the map, the Thompsons have no objection to the tower. Chairman Solberg, Town of Troy, stated that the township has no ob- jections. Chairman Meinke informed the Board that Mr. Jerome Neumann will meet with the Board at the site to explain the setbacks. New business: 1. Mr. Bernard Olson presented his request to construct a pole building in a residential area that would be 80 feet from a town road. The parcel is 7 acres, a o and has n other structure on it, Chairman Bethke, Town of Stanton, stated that the Town Board has no objections to the structure or setback. 2. Mr. Allen Campeau presented .his request to construct a Recreational Vehicle Park that would be used for self containedtravel trailers and motor homes (which could include pick up campers that are completely self contained) . He is also requesting a setback of 83 feet from the centerline of a town road. Questions by members of the' board., 3. Mr., Gary Richmond presented his requestto construct a pole barn that would be 65 feet from the centerline of a town road. The building would be used for a horse arena and for training horses. Questions by members of the board. Chairman :Meinke informed all present -that the Board would inspect the property, and then make a decision on each "tequest. Hearing recessed for inspection of the properties in question. After reviewing the sites, the Boar-+ returned to session. " The following decisions were made: 1. Motion by< Supervisor George to grant the request of River Falls Cable Company to constructea transmission tower on the Chapman property. The tower poses no threat to adjacent property owners and has met with the approval of the adjacent landowners. Seconded by Supervisor Meinke. Motion carried. Vote to approve: Meinke,yes; George, yes; Stephens, yes.' 2. Motion by Supervisor George to approve the setback for Jerome Neumann as the structure will be setback 80 feet from a recently constructed town road. Secon- ded by Supervisor Meinke. Motion carried. Vote to approve: George, yes, Meinke, yes; Stephens, ye I 3. Motion by Supervisor Stephens to grant Bernard Olson approval to construct a pole building because setback is in line with structures in the development, and a horse does not pose a problem with the neighbors. Also, the structure will cause no harm in a residential district. Seconded by Supervisor George. Motion carried. Vote to approve: Meinke, yes; George, yes; Stephens, yes. 4. Motion by Supervisor George to grant approval to Allen Campeau for a self contained Recreational Vehicle Park, providing he meets all county, state, and township re- quirements. Seconded by Supervisor Stephens. Motion carried. Vote to approve: Meinke, yes; George, yes; Stephens, yes. 5. Motion by Supervisor George to deny the request of Gary Richmond to build a pole building that would be 61 feet from the center of a town road, as it would be too close to the road, and there are alternate sites on the property. Seconded by. Super- visor Stephens. Motion carried. Vote to deny: George, yes; Meinke, yes; Stephens, yes. All variances approved must be acted on or constructed within one (1) year from date of approval or they shall be null and void. Motion by Supervisor George to adjourn.
