Supervisor Stephens read a letter on character of the development of the tower. Cost of the tower is estimated at $350,000. The tower and maintenance building will be enclosed with an 8 foot chain link fence. • Mike Waggoner explained the tower construction and how it would collapse within itself in any type of situation. Dr. Dubois explained the tower and how it is needed. Robert Burns explained the location of the tower. It is the only site that could be located far_ enough away from the river, railroad, and highway according to F.A.A. regulations. Questions by members of the Board. Mr. Ed Schachtner, Town Board member, has no objec- tions to the tower. John Nelson, adjoining landowner had questions on the tower and land values of adjoining property, lighting of the tower, and constructing a road to his property.
