BOARD OF ADJUSTMENTS HEARING
Dearing; called to order by Chairman Afdahl at 10:00 A.M. , All
board members present.
Zoning Ac?mini.,"Lrator read the request of Mr. Lee Feneis to
build closer to CTII " :" than setback requirements permit .
Mr. Feneis requested a 90 foot setback from centerline of
CTH "K''. Mr. Feneis explained that this setback would not be a
safety hazard as there are no hills to obstruct the view. He
bought the property from the Welfare nept . on a bid hoping to
build a home on the site. Being 90 feet from the centerline of
the road would keep him well within the setback lines from the
water.
Being no further questions, Chairman Afdahl informed Mr.
Feneis that the board would inspect the property and have the
Zoning Administrator inform him of their decision.
Mr. A.E. Purfeerst- requested to build a vacLll-n.e shed closer
to STH 65 than the 150 foot setback requirements of the St. Croix
County Setback Ordinance. The macliinc stied to he set back 120 to
125 feet from the centerline of the highway. His 7eason for the
request was that he is pinched between the Kinxiick i*I:�(i3.c River and
the highway and he ca not build elsewber.a as the fw m house and
all his buildings are on one side of the roan. `Ii: ::e would be
no obstruction of view with the location of the bi�'lding.
Being no further questions, Cha ,z an Afdah_ it:f_-rmed Mr.
Purfeerst that the Zoning Administrator will itiform him of their
decision.
Being no further business the Board of Adjustments adjourned
to inspect the properties in question.
After inspecting., the Feneis property, a motion by Luckwsadt
seconded by Holmes to grant the variance of Mr. Lee Feneis to build
no closer than 90 feet from the centerline of C.T.H. "K". Motion
carried unanimously.
After inspecting the Purfeerst property, a motion by Holmes,
seconded by Luckwaldt to grant the setback variance of Mr. A. E.
Purfeerst to build no closer than 125 feet from the centerline of
S.T.H. 65. Motion carried unanimously.
Neft hearing date has been set for May 2, 1975 at 10:00 A.M.
to hear the request of Mr. Walter Tvlestberg for sub-dividing a
parcel of land in the Township of Troy.
Being no further business, a motion to ad?ourn. Motion
carried.
Bearing adjourned at 3 :20 P.M.
