REPORT MEMO
Soil evaluation completed for subdivision creation. Dense tree cover limits ability to explore soil conditions
throughout parcel. Further soil testing after building site is established and cleared may result in more suitable
system area. Soil conditions appear to be very uniform throughout immediate area.
Soil in lower horizon approaching massive. Recommend designing system with 0.3 gpd/sq.ft. loading rate and
utilizing pressurized effluent distribution or installing aeration treatment unit_ An at-grade or mound system may be a
better installation on this site for long term system operation and life expectancy.
