C. A variance of section County Zoning Ordinance is
requested because: (Unaue hardship, unique situation, etc. . . )
The Hanten Broadcasting Cospany, Incorporated owner of WP16AM and FM
Radio Ststions has for the past several years leased the use of their radio
anteua ft WIMFM9 the University radio station. In att opting to negotiate a
new lease the University finds that it is in a position where it can no longer
Safford to lease by reason of a requested Increase, in costs. In order to con-
tinus the operation of the UniversiV Radio Station it has becem noesssary to
erect a tower on Univerattr land. It is plarmed to erect a one hundred foot
tower to be located 925 feet east and 76o feet north of the West 1/4 corner
of Sec 269 Town 28 R, Range 19 West and will be located in the &mthwrat quarter
of the Northwest quarter of section 26.
