Dear Mr. Raleigh:
iI 1 ; A copy of your letter of June 17., 1971 to Mr. Harold Johnson, District
Administrative Officer at Lau Claire, has been referred to our office for
a reply. We also received a letter dated June 9, 1971 from Mrs. Ruth A.
Johnson, mown Clerk, New Richmond} regarding a time extension until
;eptember 8, 1971, for installing a private sewage disposal system.
In checking, with the Plumbing Section of the Wisconsin estate Division of
Health, and in a review of our correspondence file, are would like to
briefly summarize past inspections made at your establishment and the
current status of your private sewage disposal system.
The overflow pipe from the sump in the basement, which intermittedly flowed
Vi into the Apple River, has been removed. The septic tank serving your
establishment has been sporadically pumped by a licensed septic tank
cleaner. Between puapings by the septic tank cleaner, the septic tank
effluent has been pumped on the lawn of the night club. Mr. Calvin Powers,
who lives at New Richmond, has conducted soil percolation tests and sized
a new septic tank. Plans were submitted to the Plumbing Section and were
approved on June 4, 1970.
Mrs. Ruth Johnson's letter of June 9, 1971 states the County Zoning Committee,
which is comprised of members of the County Board, has agreed to giving
you an extension until September 8, 1971 to start installation of your new
private wewaage disposal system. You stated in your letter of June 17, 1971
that the private sewage disposal system will be completed by September 100
1971 and connected.
