RESOLUTION APPROVING AMENDMENT TO TOWN OF
HUDSON ZONING ORDINANCE 105-13.B.(16)
1 WHEREAS, on January 20, 2014 the Town of Hudson Plan Commission recommended
2 approval of the proposed amendment to the Town of Hudson Zoning Ordinance Chapter 105-
3 13.B. (16); and

5 WHEREAS, On April 8, 2014 the Hudson Town Board held a properly noticed public
6 hearing, on the proposed amendment to the Town of Hudson Zoning Ordinance Chapter 105-
7 13.B.(16); and

9 WHEREAS, following the public hearing, the Hudson Town Board convened a special
10 town meeting and approved an amendment to the Town of Hudson Zoning Ordinance adding
11 Section 105-13.B.(16) as follows:
12 "Bus sales and maintenance of new school buses and new commercial buses.
13 Example of commercial buses include: assisted living-healthcare buses, church
14 buses, municipal transit buses, airport and hotel shuttle busses and similar such
15 buses"; and

17 WHEREAS, Section 60.62(3), Wisconsin Statutes states that in counties having a county
18 zoning ordinance no town zoning ordinance amendment is effective unless approved by the
19 county board; and
20
21 WHEREAS, St Croix County has a zoning ordinance; and
22
23 WHEREAS, the Community Development Committee has reviewed the proposed
24 amendment and recommends approval.

26 THEREFORE, be it resolved by the St. Croix County Board of Supervisors that the
27 amendment to the Town of Hudson Zoning Ordinance described above is hereby approved.
