RESOLUTION APPROVING A FIVE YEAR CAPITAL
IMPROVEMENT PLAN FOR FISCAL YEARS 2015 - 2019
1 WHEREAS, the County Board directed the County Administrator to prepare a Five Year Capital
2 Improvement Plan with input from the County Board and Department Heads; and

4 WHEREAS, the Five Year Capital Improvement Plan for fiscal years 2015-2019 includes
5 $7,472,400 in capital improvements; and

7 WHEREAS, although a CIP is a commitment to a long-range capital improvement plan, it is
8 fundamentally a planning document and is, therefore, subject to modification and amendment by the
9 County Board as changing priorities and availability of funding may dictate; and

11 WHEREAS, the CIP is a long range plan, the actual expenditures will be approved annually by the
12 County Board through the adoption of the budget. A Capital Budget will be prepared and be included in
13 the County's overall budget.

15 THEREFORE be it resolved, that the St. Croix County Board of Supervisors approves the Five Year
16 Capital Improvement Plan, attached hereto, and directs the County Administrator to propose funding
17 during the budget process for those projects authorized in Fiscal Year 2015-2019.
