RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING SUBMITTAL OF REQUEST
FOR LEASE PROPOSAL FOR THE AGRICULTURAL
SERVICES BUILDING TO USDA
1 WHEREAS, St. Croix County owns the Agricultural Services Building hereinafter
2 referred to as "The Building" located at 1960 - 8th Avenue, Suite 121, Baldwin, Wisconsin; and
3
4 WHEREAS, St. Croix County has leased a portion of The Building to the United States
5 Department of Agriculture (USDA) for the Farm Services Agency personnel; and
6
7 WHEREAS, St. Croix County desires to continue leasing part of the building to the
8 USDA; and
9
10 WHEREAS, the USDA has solicited a Request for Lease Proposal (RLP) for the purpose
11 of providing office space for the Farm Services Agency personnel of approximately 3,000 square
12 feet for a ten year period; and
13
14 WHEREAS, the Lease Proposal deadline is June 6, 2014.

16 THEREFORE be it resolved that the County Administrator is hereby authorized to
17 submit a Lease Proposal to the USDA under the terms and conditions authorized by the St. Croix
