This letter confirms zoning approval to construct a 30-square foot permanent, on-premise
Pi—fig building sign on the property referenced above in the Commercial District in the Town of
715-386-4674:> Richmond pursuant to Section 17.65 D.2.e. of the St. Croix County Zoning Ordinance and in
suf accordance with the plans submitted. Staff finds that the request meets the requirements of the St.
Real P . ty Croix County Zoning Ordinance based on the following findings:
715 ' '4677 1. The proposed sign is affiliated with a connmercial use that is legally allowed in the
Commercial District; specifically,an acupuncture clinic -Pain Management Acupuncture of
R cling St.Croix–that was approved as part of a special exception permit by the St.Croix County
5-386-4675 Board of Adjustment ustment on August 23 2007,File SE0128.
2. The proposed sign will be backlit with fluorescent lighting and will comply with the
illumination standards in Section 17.65 C.3 of the Ordinance;

and currently has one existing 30-square foot sign for New Horizon Homes.The proposed
sign will bring the total cumulative area of signage on the wall to 60 square feet,which is
under the maximum allowable cumulative signage of 80 square feet; and
5. The proposed sign will be attached to the fagade by screws and will not extend above the
roofline of the building.

Approval of the land use permit is subject to the following conditions:
1. Sign construction must commence within one year of the approval date of this letter and
be substantial) completed within two ears after which time the permit expires. Prior to

° Q expiration,the applicant may request extensions of up to six months from the Zoning
Administrator. The total time granted for extensions shall not exceed one year.
2. The sign shall not extend or protrude more than 18 inches from the building wall, and

must meet all other general requirements as outlined in Section 17.65 C. of the St. Croix
County Zoning Ordinance.
3. Immediately upon completing construction of the sign, applicant shall notify the
Zoning Administrator and submit a photograph of the sign
This approval does not allow for any construction, additional signs,or sign components
beyond the limits of this request. Your information will remain on file in the St. Croix County

Planning and Zoning Department. It is your responsibility to ensure compliance with any other
