The St , Croix County Board of Adjustment conducted a public hearing
on April 19 , 1983 to consider the request of the Wisconsin Telephone
Company for a special exception use , Article 2 . 6 (F) ( 12) , Microwave Tower ,
ST CROIX COUNTY ZONING ORDINANCE . I
The St . Croix County Board of Adjustment conducted an on-site
inspection of the site in question.
After inspection , the St . Croix County Board of Adjustment entered
an Executive Session to discuss the request .
After returning to open session , the following decision was rendered.
Motion by Supervisor Stephens to grant approval to Wisconsin Tel-
ephone Company to construct a microwave tower that would be 250 feet high
in the Township of Richmond . Seconded by Supervisor George . Motion
carried.

BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT MEETING AND HEARING
April 19 , 1983
10 :00 a . m. - 1 : 30 p . m.
Meeting called to order by Chairman Meinke at 10 :00 a. m. in the County
Board Room of the Courthouse , Hudson , Wiscunsin .
Minutes of the March 22 , 1983 meeting and hearings approved as written.
Motion by Supervisor Stephens to deny the request of Lowell Rivard.
Seconded by Supervisor George . Motion carried . The reason for denying
the request was that Mr. Rivard backed out of the purchase agreement .
Hearing called to order by Chairman Meinke . Zoning Administrator read
Notice of Hearing as published in the county and local newspapers .

APPELLANT : Wisconsin Telephone Company
LOCATION : NWk NWk, Section 26
T30N-R18W , Town of Richmond
Mr. Donald Draws of Wisconsin Telephone Company presented their request
to construct a microwave relay tower two hundred-fifty (250) feet high
in the township of Richmond . Mr . Draws explained the reason for the
request .
Questions by Board members .
Hearing recessed in order to have Board inspect the property in question.
Board returned to session to render a decision on the property.
Motion by Supervisor Stephens to. grant approval to Wisconsin Telephone
Company to construct a microwave tower that would be 250 feet high in
the township of Richmond. Seconded by Supervisor George . Motion carried .
Vote to approve :
George , yes ;
Stephens , yes ;
Meinke, yes .
Chairman Meinke requested that the George Lindeberg appeal be brought
before the Board on May 25 , 1983. The case is a year old and should
be cleared up.
The next scheduled meeting is May 24 , 1983 at 10 : 00 a. m.
Motion by , Supervisor George to adjourn . Seconded by Supervisor Stephens .
Motion carried. Hearing and meeting adjourned at 1 : 30 p .m.
This is a one half day meeting.
