:searing called to order by Chairman Afdahl. Present were Su?-
ervisors Afdahl, Holmes and Luckwaldt .
Zoning; Administrator, ?iarold Barber read the request of Ran-
dall Berenschot to build an enclosed driveway from his house to
the ri-ht of way of a town road.
Mr. Berenschot feels that the structure is underground and is
a permitted use within the setback.
11r. Berenschot stated that if the Board request that any po-
tion of the building be removed that he be permitted to have either
a 40 or 30 foot setback.

Chairman Afr?ahl informed Mr. Berenschot that after inspection
of the property the Zoning Administrator will inform him of their
decision.
Zoning Administrator read request of 11r: Virgil !,Tang to ?wild
an addition 10 ft. by 24 ft. to the west side of present building
along, C.T.11. `V. The building does not meet the requires: setback
frdtn the centerline of the road.
Re cannot build on the rear as it is too close to the well.
Neighbors have no objection to the addition.
Chairman Afdahl informed 11r. Wang that the Zoning Administra-
tor will inform him of their decision.
Zoning Administrator read the request of I-Ik. TTallaca TTestberg.
Township of Troy to sub-divide a parcel of land along; the St. Croix
River. The division of the property would permit °ir. T'estberg to
sell his year around home and keep the cottage as a summer resiciance.
The property would become a non-conforming use if division is
permitted.
Mrs. Uestberg informed the Board that if they wanted to put
restrictions on the property they would abide by them.
I)uestions by members of the Board and Zoning Administrator.
Chairman Afdahl informed Mrs . Westberg that the Zoning Adnia-
istrator would notify them of their decision after inspection
of the property.
Zoning Administrator read request of 11r. Herbert Turner to
build a farm implement building on agriculture parcel east of 1am-
mond. The Zoning Administrator first read a letter from District
Attorney on the property.
Several persons appeared before the Board in favor of the
building. Some people felt' that_there should be sovvv-
protect the homes that overlook the area and to beautify the pro;?-
erty. They all feel that the community needs the business and ad-
ditional tax base.
Chairman Afdahl informed the group that after inspection of
the property the Zoning Administrator will inform them of the
decision.
Hearing adjourned in order to inspect the properties brought
before the Board.
After inspection of the Tiestberg property. A Motion by Luck-
waldt to deny the Westberg request to subdivide their property.
The division of the property would make a conforming lot a noncon-
forming use, not conforming to regulations set forth by the Dept.
of Natural Resourses and Chapter 197 , Laws of Wisconsin 1973, the
Lower St. Croix River Protection Act . Seconded by Holmes . Motion
carried unanimously.
After inspection of the Berenschot property. A motion by-
Holmes seconded seconded by Luckwaldt to deny the request of 11r. Berenschot
to build closer to the town road than 100 feet from centerline.
The non-conforming structure shall be removed to 100 feet from the
centerline of the township road on or before December 15, 1;74, or
legal action will be taken by the District Attorney and Zoning
Administrator to remove the structure. Motion carried unanimously.
After inspection of the Turner property. A motion by Luck-
waldt 1
seconded b �Iolmes to approve Mr. Turner's y pp e s request with the
following restrictions :
(1) . Two rows of poplar trees (fast growing) and two rows of
evergraen trees are to be -,Iar!ted on the west property
line from the front of the building to the rear of the

(2) . Keeps tha property in a clean and orderly manner.
(3) . Beautify the property to assist in keeping the

Motion carried unanimously.

seconded by Luckwaldt to grant Mr. Wang perxission to buf.'Me a

Motion carried unanimously.
