HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution 2014 (21) Resolution No. 21 (2014) RESOLUTION TO APPROVE REQUEST TO INCREASE PART- TIME BEHAVIORAL HEALTH NURSE TO FULL-TIME 1 WHEREAS, in the 2014 budget, a Behavioral Health Nurse Position at 20 hours per 2 week was included; and 3 4 WHEREAS, work has been done to recruit for this position through Human Resources 5 and through a private nursing placement agency, but these efforts have not been successful; and 6 7 WHEREAS, given the current nursing workload and a planned reduction in our current 8 nurse's hours in 2015 due to continuing education work, it is recommended by the Health & 9 Human Services Board that this position be increased to full-time; and 10 11 WHEREAS, a review of projected funding indicates sufficient resources to cover the 12 additional costs for 2014. 13 14 THEREFORE be it resolved that the part-time Behavioral Health Nurse position at the 15 Health & Human Services Department be increased to a full-time position.
