Section 17.65 D.2.c. of the St. Croix County Zoning Ordinance according to the plans

submitted and based on the following findings:

1. The proposed sign will be affiliated with Redeemer Lutheran church on the
property. The use was approved through Special Exception Permit
#SE0203 in 2009.
v.; 2. The proposed plans include one freestanding sign near the corner of County
Road E and Scott Road. The sign will have a surface area of 32 square feet
and will be no more than 6 feet tall as measured from the existing ground
elevation, which is allowed with a land use permit pursuant to Section 17.65
D.2.d. of the St. Croix County Zoning Ordinance.
3. The sign will meet all required setbacks. The sign will be located 66 from
r the centerline of Highway A (33' from the right-of-way) and 45' from the
centerline of Scott Road (12' from the right-of-way).
4. The proposed sign will be internally illuminated.
5. With conditions requiring compliance with all sign standards, including but not
limited to the standards in Section 17.65 C. of the St. Croix County Zoning
Ordinance, the purpose of the sign regulation and the spirit and intent of the
Ordinance will be met.
N Approval of the land use permit is subject to the following conditions:

1. The sign must be constructed in accordance with the plans submitted and as
provided in the conditions below.
2. The sign must have an external outlet that will serve as a power cutoff switch as
required by the Ordinance.
3. The existing temporary freestanding sign located in the corner of the property
must be removed prior to completing installation of the new sign.
4. Sign construction must commence within one year of the approval date of this
r letter and be substantially completed within two years, after which time the
.' permit expires. Prior to expiration, the applicant may request extensions of up

5. Immediately upon completing construction of the sign, the applicant shall notify the Zoning
Administrator and submit photographs of the sign for our file.

This,approval does not allow for any construction or additional signs, sign components, or
structures eyond the limits of this request. Your information will remain on file in the St. Croix
County Pwa ping and Zoning Department. It is your responsibility to ensure compliance with any other
local, stae`and federal rules or regulations, including but not limited to obtaining approval from the
Town of # Joseph.
