RESOLUTION TO APPROVE A FINANCE POSITION
UPGRADE
1 WHEREAS, the Finance Department has identified a need to increase a vacant Financial Assistant
2 Position that is assigned to Health & Human Services Department to a Lead Finance Specialist Position
3 due to increased workload and additional duties and responsibilities; and
4
5 WHEREAS, a review of the funding indicates sufficient resources to cover the additional costs
6 for 2014; and
7
8 WHEREAS, the Administration Committee has considered, reviewed and supports the request
9 for upgrading the existing vacant Financial Assistant position to a Lead Finance Specialist.

11 THEREFORE be it resolved that the vacant full-time Financial Assistant Position be upgraded to a
12 Lead Finance Specialist in the Finance Department, working at Health & Human Services.
Le-gal- Fiscal- Administrative Approvals:
Legal Note: none
Fiscal Impact: There is no increase to the 2014 Budget or Tax Levy. There is sufficient funds to
cover the expense in 2014. If approved, the position will be inlcuded in the 2015
Budget.
