The St . Croix County Board of Adjustment conducted a public hearing
on August 24 , 1982 to consider the request of Mr. Thomas McIntyre
for a Special Exception to Article 3 . 12 , Riverway District , ST .
CROIX COUNTY ZONING ORDINANCE .
The St . Croix County Board of Adjustment conducted an on-site
inspection of the site in question.
After' inspection , the St . Croix County Board of Adjustment entered
an Executive Session to discuss the request .
After returning to open session, the following decision was rendered .
Motion by Supervisor Stephens to approve the forty (40) foot setback
from the bluffline and screening shall be planted . This construction
shall be completed one year from this date . Seconded by Supervisor
George . . Motion carried . Vote to approve :

Subject: St. Croix County Lower St. Croix Riverway District Ordinance
Hi Christine,
Attached please find a copy of the St. Croix County Lower St. Croix Riverway District Ordinance. As we discussed, it was
enacted under the authority of NR 118, which is the State Administrative Code for the Lower St. Croix Riverway. Basically,
the State of Wisconsin makes the rules and the County is the regulatory authority that administers and enforces them in
the rural towns. The Town of Troy is unique because it enacted its own Riverway Ordinance in addition to the County's, so
property owners presently need to o through a dual-permitting roces
