Private Onslte Wastewater Treatment System Management Plan
Septic Tank ~4nd Gravity In-Ground Soil Absorption Component
Pursuant to Comm 83.34 Wls, Adm. Code each Private Onsite Wastewater Treatment
System (POWYS) shall indude information and procedures for maintaining the system within
the parameters of Comm B3 and 64, and the conditions of approval by the department, agent,
or govemmentai unit. The approved plans and permits for system are on file at the county
zoning or heaith department.
This management plan complies with Comm 83.84, Wis. Adm. Coda, and the tn-Ground
Soil Absorption Component Manual for Private Onsite Wastewater Treatment Systems SBfl-

The septic tank shall be maintained by an individual certified to service septic tanks
under s. 281.48, Scats. The contents of the septic tank shall be disposed of in accordance with
NR 113, Wis, Adm. Code (Servicing Septic or Holding Tanks, Pumping Chambers, grease
lnterc~ptors, Seepage Beds, Seepage Pits, Seepage Trenches, Privies, or Portable
Restrooms).
The operating condition of the septic and outlet filter shall be assessed at feast
once every 3 years by inspection, The octet filter shalt be cleaned as necessary to ensure
