March 16, 1982 1409 COULEE ROAD HUDSON WISCONSIN 54016
Mr, Harold Barber, Administrator
St. Croix County Zoning Office

Hammond, Wisconsin 54015
Dear Mr. Barber:
Pursuant to the St. Croix County Zoning Ordinance, St. Croix
River Valley District of the Shoreland Zoning Chapter, Z am
enclosing the $100 review fee, map of the property, and answers
to the pertinent questions of the Special Exception Use Permit
check-list, and hereby making application for the special ex-
ception hearing.
Mr, and Mrs, George Lindeberg are intending to sell their ex-
isting home and construct a new, smaller home on top of the
bluff as shown on the attached map. The present lot is approxS.-
mately 22 acres. Any new division will comply with the County
Subdivision Ordinance and whatever parameters the new buyer
requests,
All present utilities (phone and electric) are via the present
roadway along the South line of the property, Effluent disposal
will be with an on-site system,
Because there are no assurances on the special exception, no
house plans have been drawn. The Lindebergs indicated to me
that the new home will be about 30' x 45', set well back from
the bluff, invisible from the river under normal summer vege-
tation, less than 35' in height, of natural earth-tones, and
harmonize as much as possible with the environment.
With three permanent residents, the possibility of children
home from college only during the summer, and the intent to
sell the present home as a summer residence, the impact on
schools, police and fire services, roads and the environment
will be negligible.

Dear Mr. Barber:
I am writing this as a follow-up to our phone conversation
of April 8, 1982, concerning the Lindeberg property on the
St. Croix River. As my letter of March 16, 1982, included
the necessary fee and all pertinent information, I am including
nothing new. I would like to ask you to review the materials
sent and inform me of any deficiencies prior to the special
exception hearing. We would appreciate a week's notice to
allow me to add whatever your office requests.
I have not heard from Mr. Richard Thompson, Mr. Steve Johnson,
Mr. Al Santala, Mr. Dean Albert, or the West Central Wisconsin
Regional Planning Commission and so assume that they have no
major objections nor do they require additional information
at this time.
I will inform the above mentioned persons/agencies that there
will be no special exception hearing this month, but that you
had informed me that the hearing will be scheduled for May
25, 1982, and that your office is handling the necessary public
notices.
Thank you for your assistance.
Sincerely,
I /ames E. Rusch
