Re; Durand Federal Survey in Sec.33, T.29 N., R. 16 W.
Dear Jim,
Enclosed you will find a copy of the survey I did for Durand
Federal Savings & Loan last week, in your county. Also I enclosed a
sketch of the Section breakdown, for your information. My closure
around the section was 1 in 58,000+.
While running around the section I noticed the following;
1. The west 1/4 corner is a 2" iron pipe. The county cap is gone.
2, The south 1/4 corner is a 2" iron pipe bent towards the east. I set
a PK nail from the county ties and it falls just west of the top of
the pipe. The county cap is also gone.
3. The Southeast corner is a cap in conc. It is flush with the road
surface. The X on the cap was just about scraped off by the grader,
I chiseled the X in deeper on the cap.
Thought you would want to know about these.
