This survey was performed for determination of the east boundary line of\ 19 ~.y^ 6 ~M~N(
III property owned by the George H. and Borgltild Ruesink Family Trust. \

description includes the south 360 feet of the westerly portion of the A
former railroad right of way. It appears that lands north of the boundary
as surveyed hereon had been previously conveyed by Land Contract in \
Volume 675 page 297. Title research would be required to determine \ \ 69 90 ~ `00 ~1

\ ' Based on survey evidence from multiple surveys in this area, the standard o.

practice of locating the former railroad centerline where curves were
shown on the right of way plat was to monument angle points along the \
former centerline, generally at between 100 and 200 foot intervals. It \
appears that when determinina.gtheformerrailroadforthe platofHazel \ \ / II I I
Crest, one of the curve segments shownon tine railroad right of waYwas \
completely omitted (angle points were not recounted for through the \
curve-tangents were used as if the curve had not existed). This is \ s
' confirmed by an Affidavit describing the former railroad centerline by
\ surveyor Carroll Grubb in Volume 437 Pane 524, including the canc. Page
Prior survey evidence from 1973 by Arthur Wegerer defines the \
centerline at locations accepted for the survey hereon. During field \ ,o
surveying, it was noted that rear corners of Lots- 6 & 7 of Hazel Crest do \
not fall near the apparent center of the former railroad grade (The bed of
the tracks is fairly well defined in this area), while the corners relocated
from the Wegerer survey fit reasonably well to the former railroad bed. \ ~o
