ST R O .,, RESOLUTION APPROVING AMENDMENT TO TOWN OF

BRAKKE DRIVE
1 WHEREAS, First Bank of Baldwin located at 650 Brakke Drive, Hudson WI, owns a
2 parcel of land in the NWT/4 of the SW�/4 of Section 27, and the NWT/4 of the SEA/4 of Section 27
3 Town 29 N, Range 19 W, Town of Hudson that is zoned Commercial; and

5 WHEREAS, First Bank of Baldwin, surrounded by the requested Commercial/Light
6 Industrial zoning district, indicated its desire to lease to multiple tenants, petitioned the Town of
7 Hudson to rezone their existing parcel consisting of 3.002 acres and described as part of the
8 NWT/4 of the SW�/4 of Section 27, and the NWT/4 of the SEA/4 of Section 27 from Commercial
9 zoning to Commercial/Light Industrial zoning; and

11 WHEREAS, the Town of Hudson Plan Commission met on July 20, 2015, and
12 recommended approval of the rezoning petition for First Bank of Baldwin to rezone CSM 6-
13 1726, 3.002 acres, from Commercial to Commercial/Light Industrial; and
14
15 WHEREAS, following due advertisement announcing the public hearing as required by
16 law, the Town of Hudson Town Board held said public hearing on September 1, 2015; and
17
18 WHEREAS, On September 1, 2015 the Hudson Town Board adopted a zoning ordinance
19 amendment based on the Town of Hudson Ordinance Chapter 105 Article VIII as follows:

21 3.002 acres on CSM 6-1726,part of the NW'/ of the SW'/ of Section 27, and the NW'/ of
22 the SE'/ of Section 27 is rezoned to Commercial/Light Industrial; and

24 WHEREAS, Section 60.62(3), Wisconsin Statutes states that in counties having a county
25 zoning ordinance no town zoning ordinance amendment is effective unless approved by the
26 county board; and
27
28 WHEREAS, St Croix County has a zoning ordinance; and
29
30 WHEREAS, the Community Development Committee has reviewed the proposed
31 amendment and recommends approval.

33 THEREFORE, be it resolved by the St. Croix County Board of Supervisors that the
34 amendment to the Town of Hudson Zoning Ordinance described above is hereby approved.
