ST RO .,, RESOLUTION AMENDING THE RULES AND BYLAWS OF
' �' THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS, ST. CROIX COUNTY,
REGARDING THE COUNTY LIBRARY PLANNING
COMMITTEE MEMBERSHIP
1 WHEREAS, the County Board adopted Resolution 37(2015) Creating a Library Planning
2 Committee on October 6, 2015; and

4 WHEREAS, the St. Croix County Administration Committee has reconsidered the
5 membership composition of the County Library Planning Committee; and
6
7 WHEREAS, it is desired that the County Library Planning Committee would consist of 2
8 members of the Administration Committee; 1 member from the County Board at large and 2
9 library directors chosen from among the public library directors to be appointed by the County
10 Board Chair and confirmed by the County Board.

12 THEREFORE be it resolved that Article 5, Section B(8) of the Rules and Bylaws of the
13 Board of Supervisors, St. Croix County is amended to read as follows:

15 (8) County Library Planning Committee. The library planning committee is
16 created pursuant to Wis. Stat. § 43.11(1) and shall exercise those powers and
17 duties described in Wis. Stat. § 43.11(3)(a)-(e).

19 a. Members: 2 members of the Administration Committee, 1 member from
20 the County Board at large, and 2 library directors chosen from among the
21 public library directors.

23 b. Term: 2 years.

25 C. Populated: 2 Administration Committee members, 1 County Board
26 member at large and 2 library directors chosen from among the public
27 library directors shall be appointed by the County Board Chair and
28 confirmed by the County Board.

30 d. Contact Committee: Administration Committee

Fiscal Impact: Adoption of this resolution will result in additional expenses for the attendance of
Committee members. This cost will be dependent on the number of meetings held.
