ST ROI.,w ~[~w RESOLUTION APPROVING COUNTY ADMINISTRATOR
' �' TEMPORARY SUCCESSION POLICY
1 WHEREAS, the County Board has a responsibility to assess the permanent leadership
2 needs of the organization to help ensure the selection of a qualified and capable leader; and

4 WHEREAS, to ensure that the organization's operations are not interrupted by the
5 County Administrator's absence of office by reason of serious or extended illness, incapacity, or
6 vacancy, it is desirable that an acting County Administrator be appointed.

8 THEREFORE, be it resolved that in the event of the County Administrator's absence
9 from office by reason of serious or extended illness, incapacity, or vacancy, the Corporation
10 Counsel shall act as County Administrator and perform all duties of such office, until such time
11 as the County Administrator returns or the Board appoints a successor.
