AMENDMENT TO ST. CROIX COUNTY CODE OF
�r ORDINANCES CHAPTER 17 SUBCHAPTER IV SECTION 17.40
FLOODPLAIN OVERLAY DISTRICT §17.40 B.2.
1 WHEREAS, Wisconsin Administrative Code NR 116 Wisconsin's Floodplain
2 Management Program establishes the statewide standards for floodplain zoning; and
3 WHEREAS, Wisconsin Administrative Code NR 116, requires counties and other
4 municipalities to adopt floodplain zoning ordinances for the protection of all floodplains; and
5 WHEREAS, Section 17.40, Floodplain Overlay District needs to be updated to
6 incorporate Letter of Map Revision 15-05-03808P; and
7 WHEREAS, the St. Croix County Community Development Committee held a public
8 hearing on the proposed amendments on May 26, 2016; and
9 WHEREAS, the Community Development Committee recommends approval of the
10 proposed amendments to Floodplain Overlay District §§17.40 B.2., dated June 7, 2016.
11 THEREFORE, the St. Croix County Board of Supervisors does ordain as follows:
12 Chapter 17, Subchapter III, Section 17.40 Floodplain Overlay District, §§17.40 B.2. is
13 hereby amended as follows:
14 j. Letter of Map Revision, Case No 15-05-3808P, Revision to Map Panel
15 55109C0420E, Sections 13, 24, & 25 T28N, R16W Town of Eau Galle, and
16 Sections 18, 19, & 30 T28N, R15W Town of Cady; adopted by the Federal
17 Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) effective April 1, 2016.
18 FURTHER be it resolved that the St. Croix County Board of Supervisors does ordain the
19 amendments will take effect upon approval by the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources.
