, ��, UNTY RESOLUTION APPROVING AMENDMENT TO THE TOWN
OF HUDSON ZONING ORDINANCE REGARDING WIRELESS
COMMUNICATION FACILITIES
1 WHEREAS, on July 5, 2016 the Town of Hudson Town Board rescinded section 105-43
2 through 105-50 of Chapter 105 of the Town of Hudson Zoning Ordinance; and

4 WHEREAS, on July 5, 2016 the Town of Hudson Town Board approved the Town of
5 Hudson Mobile Tower Siting Permit Ordinance; and
6
7 WHEREAS, following advertisement announcing the public hearing as required by law,
8 the Town of Hudson Town Board held a public hearing on July 5,2016 regarding amending Article
9 IX, Wireless Communications Facilities of Chapter 105 Zoning Ordinance by way of text shown
10 as Exhibit"A" as attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference; and

12 WHEREAS, Wisconsin Statute § 60.62(3) states that in counties having a county zoning
13 ordinance no town zoning ordinance amendment is effective unless approved by the county board;
14 and
15
16 WHEREAS, St Croix County has a zoning ordinance; and
17
18 WHEREAS, the Community Development Committee has reviewed the proposed
19 amendment and recommends approval.

21 THEREFORE, be it resolved by the St. Croix County Board of Supervisors that the
22 amendment of the Town of Hudson Zoning Ordinance regarding wireless communication facilities
23 is hereby approved.

July 5, 2016
Chairman Jeff Johnson called the public hearing to order at 6:15 p.m. on July 5, 2016 at the
Hudson Town Hall for the purpose of amending Article IX, Wireless Communications Facilities
of Chapter 105 Zoning ordinance.
Chairman Johnson noted that this public hearing is for the purpose of amending the zoning
ordinance to comply with state law. The existing Town ordinance must be rescinded as it is no
longer valid due to changes in state law.
Motion by Johnson,2°d by Foster to rescind 105-43 through 105-50 and approve Town of
Hudson Mobile Siting Permit Ordinance as presented. Motion carried.
Motion by Jordan,2°a by Foster to close the public hearing: Motion carried.
