ST ROUK,,, RESOLUTION APPROVING ALTERATION OF SUPERVISORY
' ' DISTRICT BOUNDARY- CITY OF HUDSON
1 WHEREAS,in 2011 the St. Croix County Board of Supervisors adopted a 10-year supervisory
2 district plan creating county supervisory districts,municipal aldermanic districts and election wards
3 following the 2010 Census; and
4
5 WHEREAS, Wisconsin Statutes § 59.10(3)(c) allows a county board,in its discretion, to alter the
6 boundaries of supervisory districts based on annexations which occur after the adoption of the 10-year
7 supervisory district plan, as long as the number of supervisory districts is not changed; and
8
9 WHEREAS, the City of Hudson completed an annexation in June 2016 of a parcel described on
10 Exhibit B of the attached (18 acres).

12 WHEREAS, a map of the annexed parcel, along with a copy of the annexation ordinance has
13 been filed with the St. Croix County Clerk and are attached; and
14
15 WHEREAS, the parcel annexed by the City of Hudson is part of County Supervisor District 9,
16 consisting of Ward 1,in the Town of Troy; and
17
18 WHEREAS, it is appropriate to move the annexed parcel into County Supervisor District 7 in
19 Ward 4, City of Hudson; and
20
21 WHEREAS, the population of the annexed parcel is zero; and
22
23 WHEREAS, this resolution does not change the number of supervisory districts.

25 THEREFORE be it resolved by the St. Croix County Board of Supervisors that the supervisory
26 district boundaries are hereby altered by moving the annexed parcel of land from County Supervisor
27 District 9 to County Supervisor District 7 consisting of Ward 4 in the City of Hudson as shown on the
28 attached;

30 FURTHER be it resolved that the St. Croix County Clerk is hereby directed to forward all notices
31 required under Wisconsin Statutes, Chapter 59, to the Secretary of State for the purpose of advising that
32 office of said supervisory district boundary changes.

CITY OF HUDSON,WISCONSIN
ORDINANCE NO. 8-16
AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING TERRITORYTO THE CITY OF HUDSON, WISCONSIN.
The Common Council of the City of Hudson,St.Croix County,Wisconsin, do ordain as follows:
SECTION 1. Territory Annexed. In accordance with Section 66.0217(2)of the Wisconsin Statutes and the
petition for unanimous annexation filed with the City Clerk on April 1,2016 signed by the owner and electors
residing in the following described territory in the Town of Troy,St. Croix County, Wisconsin, is annexed to the
City of Hudson, Wisconsin (see Exhibit A):
SECTION 2. Effective Annexation. From and after the effective date of this ordinance the territory described in
Section 1 shall be a part of the City of Hudson-for.any and all purposes provided by law and all persons coming
or residing within such territory shall be subject to all ordinances, rules and regulations governing the City of
Hudson, Wisconsin.
SECTION 3. Zoning Classification. As authorized by Wisconsin Statutes Section 66.0217(9)(a) and pursuant to
the City of Hudson Zoning Code,Section 255-12,the territory annexed to the City of Hudson by this ordinance is
zoned R-1, One-Family Residential District.
SECTION 4. Ward Designation. The territory described in Section 1 of this ordinance is hereby made a part of
the Fourth Ward of the City of Hudson,Second Aldermanic District,subject to ordinances, rules and regulations
of the City governing wards.
SECTION 5. Severability. If any of this ordinance other than Section 6 is invalid or unconstitutional, or if the
application of this ordinance to any person or circumstances is invalid or unconstitutional,such invalidity or
unconstitutionality shall not affect the other provisions or applications of this ordinance.
SECTION 6. Annexation Agreement. This annexation is conditional upon the owner(s) of the property signing
an annexation agreement with the City of Hudson.
SECTION 7. Effective Date. This ordinance shall take effect upon execution of an Annexation Agreement as
required in Section 6, passage and publication of this ordinance as provided by law.

ORDINANCE NO,20-16
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE CITY OF HUDSON COMPREHENSIVE PLAN AND REZONING TERRITORY
IN THE CITY OF HUDSON,WISCONSIN
THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF HUDSON DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. In accordance with Section 62.23 of the Wisconsin Statutes,and in accordance with section
255-64 of the Municipal Code of the City of Hudson, and after recommendation of the City of Hudson
Plan Commission, and public hearing thereon,and deliberation by the Common Council,the following
described territory in the City of Hudson,St. Croix County,Wisconsin in the 2009 City of Hudson
Comprehensive Plan- Master Plan Map land use designation is amended from General Commercial to
Industrial; and the official zoning map is amended from R-1, One-Family Residential District and B-2,
General Business District to 1-1, Light Industrial District as defined in Section 255®14, 1 of the Municipal
Code of the City of Hudson:
The properties are legally described as part of the NE1/4, NW1/4,Section 4,T29N, R19W, City of
Hudson,St. Croix County,Wisconsin.
It is further ordained that the 2030 Master Plan Map,dated December 31, 2009 as amended and that
the Zoning District Map,City of Hudson, dated November 19, 1993 as amended, are further amended to
show the change in designated land use and change in zoning district classification and said 2009 City of
Hudson Comprehensive Plan and said Chapter 255 of the Municipal Code of the City of Hudson is hereby
amended to reflect said changes.
This ordinance shall take effect upon passage and publication as provided by law.
