S � "�` `' � RESOLUTION APPOINTING COUNTY TREASURER
1 WHEREAS, the County Treasurer Laurie Noble resigned effective December 16, 2016,
2 thus creating a vacancy in the office of County Treasurer; and

4 WHEREAS, the Administration Committee is the parent committee to the County
5 Treasurer's Office and works closely with the County Treasurer; and
6
7 WHEREAS, the Administration Committee created a St. Croix County Treasurer
8 Appointment Subcommittee to work with the Human Resources Department to recruit persons
9 interested in filling the vacancy, review and analyze applications, choose persons to be
10 interviewed, interview persons and recommend a person to the County Board to serve as County
11 Treasurer for the residue of the unexpired term; and
12
13 WHEREAS, the subcommittee has completed the process; and
14
15 WHEREAS, the subcommittee recommends candidate Denise Anderson of Hudson,
16 Wisconsin be appointed St. Croix County Treasurer.

18 THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the St. Croix County Board of Supervisors,
19 meeting in regular session, that Denise Anderson, upon giving an official bond with like sureties
20 as are required, is hereby appointed St. Croix County Treasurer for the residue of the unexpired
21 term ending on the first Monday, January 2021.
