RE: Land Use Permit – Replacement Septic System in Riverway District
Site Address: 245 Cove Rd, Hudson --- PID# 040-1179-50-000, Sec. 24 T28N R20W, Town of Troy
Mr. George,
After reviewing your land use application, a land use permit has been granted as detailed in your application
with silt fence as erosion control.
Staff finds that the proposed activities meet the applicable St. Croix County Zoning Ordinance for the Lower St.
Croix Riverway District, based on the following findings:
1. The parcel consists of approximately 3 acres, located within the Lower St. Croix Riverway Overlay District
2. The ground disturbance must not cause runoff or erosion issues, so at minimum there must be a properly
installed silt fence and any other required erosion control measures necessary
3. The proposed site has 0-2% slopes, and is located greater than 40’ from any slope preservation zones
Based on these findings, approval of the land use permit is subject to the following conditions:
1. A preconstruction meeting must be arranged by the owner, at least one week before the start of construction
on the pole barn/accessory structure
This approval does not allow for any additional construction, structures or structural changes, grading,
filling, or clearing of vegetation beyond the limits of this request. Your information will remain on file in
the St. Croix County Community Development Department. It is your responsibility to ensure
compliance with any other local, state, or federal rules or regulations, including contacting the Town of
Troy to inquire if they require any permits.
DO NOT forget to contact the County for pre-construction and post-construction onsite meetings.
