Please find enclosed an administrative land use permit for your project. This permit allows you to complete the project as submitted. This permit has been issued with the following conditions: • You are to notify the Zoning Office 3 days prior to the commencement of the project and upon the completion of the project. • Permit is valid for one year from the issuance date. • Submit photos of the reclaimed site to the Zoning Office. • Site shall be reclaimed no later than November 1, 2004, unless the project is extended by the St. Croix Highway Department and shall be reclaimed by the new deadline. • Annual fees will be required for the site if unreclaimed acres exist at the end of the year. • Chapter 14. Nonmetallic Mining Ordinance applies Countywide and is in effect in the Town of Somerset. Staff finds that the project meets the St. Croix County Nonmetallic Mining Ordinance, Chapter 14.3 A.2 Borrow Sites provisions for the following reasons: 1. The project is in connection with the reconstruction of Cry Road I between 192"d Ave and 210`x' Ave in the Town of Somerset. 2. The applicant has a signed agreement with the St. Croix County Highway Department. 3. The borrow site will be reclaimed in accordance with WDOT standards and in accordance with Chapter 14.2 B of the St. Croix County Nonmetallic Mining Ordinance. 4. The borrow site will be reclaimed in 36 months. 5. Best management practices are required to follow WDOT standards. 6. A reclamation plan is on file. 7. The 14,000 cubic yards of material to mined from the above described property will solely be used in conjunction with the reconstruction of Cty Road I between 192"d Ave. and 210'x' Ave. If the scope of the project changes, please contact the Zoning Office immediately so we can assess the project to ascertain if additional zoning permits or approvals are necessary.
