The request for a Land Use Permit is approved based on the application conditions and the following findings: • The proposed project along with all applicable setbacks are mapped on the site plan. • The amount of new impervious surface is less than 15%, therefore compliant with Shoreland impervious surface standards. • Erosion and sediment control plans have been submitted that meet or exceed Wisconsin Department of Natural Resource (WDNR) Technical Standards. Based on these findings, approval of the Land Use Permit is subject to the following conditions: 1. A post-construction inspection will be required prior to removing erosion control measures to determine the entire project site has reached a point of 70% permanent vegetative cover. It is the applicant/agent's responsibility to schedule this with the CDD staff. 2. Erosion control and seeding shall be installed according to the General Erosion Control Notes on the site plan prior to any land disturbance activities. St. Croix County reserves the right to require additional erosion control measures to be installed during construction if found necessary due to site-specific conditions. 3. The applicant shall be responsible to secure any other required local, state or federal permit(s) and approval(s) prior to land disturbance activity. 4. Any questions regarding erosion control notes and/or seeding requirements shall be directed to the designer. Any change shall be approved by Community Development. 5. Failure to comply with the terms or conditions above may result in the revocation of this permit by the Zoning Administrator. The permit card is recommended to be posted on the job-site. IT IS THE APPLICANTS/AGENTS RESPONSIBILITY TO ARRANGE INSPECTIONS. FAILURE TO DO SO MAY RESULT IN A CITATION. Prior to an inspection, the CDD staff shall be given at minimum 2 full business days' notice to ensure an inspection time can be arranged. This approval is subject to the conditions listed above; it does not allow for any additional construction, structures, grading, paving, filling or clearing of vegetation beyond the limits of this request. This permit does not approve neighboring sites nor future projects within the site. For any other projects/plans please contact the CDD staff. Your information will remain on file at the St. Croix County Community Development Department suite. It is your responsibility to ensure compliance with any other local, state, or federal permitting or regulations, including contacting the town of Somerset and the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources to inquire if additional permissions are required. Please feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns. I am typically available Monday-Friday from 8:00-5:00 PM. If you would like to schedule an inspection, please call the main office so they can direct the next available staff member to accommodate your request as best as possible; (715) 386-4680. Drives should extend from the roadway 50 feet or to the house foundation (whichever is less). Location of sediment barriers around on-site storm sewer inlets. O Location'of diversions. Note: Although not specifically required by code, it is recommended that concen- trated flow (drainageways) be diverted (re-directed) around disturbed areas. Overland runoff (sheet flow)from adjacent areas greater than 10,000 sq. ft. should also be diverted around disturbed areas. Location of practices that will control erosion on areas of concentrated runoff flow. Note: Unstabilized drainageways, ditches, diversions, and inlets should be protected from erosion through use of such practices as in-channel fabric or straw bale barriers, erosion control mats, staked sod, and rock rip-rap. When used, a given in-channel barrier should not receive drainage from more than two acres of unpaved area, or one acre of paved area. In-channel practices should not be installed in perennial streams (streams with-year round flow).
