ST. RQ UNT`1( RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING A 90-DAY EXTENSION TO
THE SPECIAL STUDY GROUP TO ADDRESS NUTRIENT
POLLUTION OF ST. CROIX COUNTY'S WATER RESOURCES
FROM LARGE LIVESTOCK FACILITIES AND OTHER
SOURCES
1 WHEREAS, Resolution No. 55 (2016) created a special study group to address nutrient
2 pollution of St. Croix County's Water Resources from Large Livestock Facilities and Other
3 Sources; and
4
5 WHEREAS, the committee has six months to complete the study and report back to the
6 County Board of Supervisors and the County Board of Supervisors may grant an additional 90
7 days to complete the study; and
8
9 WHEREAS, the Community Development Committee recognizes that the Study Group is
10 not on track to complete the study within the six-month timeframe and recommends the County
11 grant the additional time to complete the study.

13 NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the St. Croix County Board of Supervisors
14 hereby grants the Special Study Group to Address Nutrient Pollution of St. Croix County's Water
15 Resources from Large Livestock Facilities and Other Sources an additional 90 days to complete
16 the study and report back.
