The County Board of Supervisors of St. Croix County,
Wisconsin does ordain as follows:
Section 1. Authority and Purpose. This Ordinance is
enacted under authority of Subchapter V, Chapter 77, Wis. Stats. ,
and the county sales and use taxes imposed herein shall be used
for the purpose of directly reducing the property tax levy of St.
Croix County.
Section 2. Imposition of Tax There &re hereby imposed
county sales and use taxes at the rate of 0.5t in the manner and
to the extent permitted as set forth in -their entirety in
Subchapter V, Chapter 77, Wis. Stats. , and acts amendatory
thereto.

Section 3. This Ordinance shall become effective April 1,
1987.
Section 4. A certified copy of this Ordinance shall be
delivered by the County Clerk for St. Croix County to the
Secretary of the Department of Revenue of the State of Wisconsin
at P. 0. Box 8933, Madison, Wisconsin 53708, no later than
December 1, 1986.
