ST. CROIX COUNTY METAL OR GLASS OORDINANCE

The County Board of Supervisors of St. Croix County, Wisconsin does
ordain as follows:
Section 1.
Whoever throws or deposits any metal cans or glass bottles or any other
debris made in whole or in part of metal or glass in or on the shores of any lake
or body of water is guilty of a violation of this ordinance and shall be penalized

as provided in Section 3 of this ordinance.
Section 2. Definitions.
(a) "metal cans" shall include but not be limited to those cans composed ti
of stainless steel, tin, or aluminum, k

Section 3. Penalty.

Any person who violates this ordinance shall, upon conviction, be subject
to a forfeiture of not more than $500 together with costs of prosecution and k
r'
penalty assessment; and in default of payment of such forfeiture and costs,

shall be subject to inprisonment in the County Jail until such forfeiture °and costs be paid, but not to exceed 30 days.
Section 4.
Any future amendments, revisions, or modifications of Wisconsin Statutes
Section 947.047, incorporated herein, are intended to be made part of this
ordinance as such amendments, revisions, or modifications are made to said Statutes.
This ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after its

proper passage and publication pursuant to Wisconsin Law.
