WHEREAS , Wisconsin Statutes Section 60.74 et seq.- provides a ` >
procedure for a Town $oard to recommendthat zoning districts be
changed within its Township with the final ,approval being by the # '
County Board in counties having a Zoning Ordinance, and
WHEREAS, the Town Board of the Township of Pleasant Valley held
various public meetings concerning a proposed change from Agricultural-
Residential Zoning tosAgricultur'a1 Zoning for the entire Township,
with certian exceptions, and
WHEREAS, the Town Board for the Township of Pleasant Valley
met during March of 1983 and approved by a vote of 3to 0,
that the entire Township be rezoned from Agricultural-Residential
to Agricultural, with certain'exceptions as are more particularly
set forth on the official Township of Pleasant Valley`,Zoning Map,
and,
WHEREAS , the St. Croix County Comprehensive Planning, Zoning and
Parks Committee received an official letter from` the Township of
Pleasant Valley indicating; such recommendation fbr 'rezoning, and.
met on March 24, 1983: and approved of such recommendation b'y, a
5 '''to 0 vote,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the St. Croix County Board of
Supervisors, meeting in regular session, that the action taken by the
Town Board o£ the Township of Pleasant Valley and the recommendation
by the St. Croix County Comprehensive' Planning, Zoning and Warks
Committee'are hereby approved as follows :
1) The Town of Pleasant Valley is hereby rezoned -from Agricultural
Residential District to Agricultural District as more particularly
set forth in the St. Croix County 4oning Ordinance Section 2.4, EXCEPT
those areas excluded from the Agricultural District on the 'official
Township Map which is filed with the St. Croix County Zoning Admin-
istrator, with a copy being retained by the St. Croix County Clerk.
2) Parcels may be rezoned from theTownshipof Pleasant
Valley Agricultural District to any of the other Zoning Districts
as more particularly set forth in the St. Croix 'County Zoning
Ordinance, if the parcels meet any or all of the criteria set forth
in Attachment A to this Ordinance,, which is hereby incorporated

by reference.
This Ordinance shall take effect upon proper passage and pub-
lication 'according to Wisconsin law.
